Yankee Candles

SMS Fundraiser

Yankee Candles

Swampscott Middle School will be having one online fundraiser – Yankee Candle.  The goal is to help lower the cost of field trips, as well as provide financial aid for students that need it.

For every purchase made on the Yankee Candle website, the school will be given 40%.  We are hoping this will help you with your holiday shopping as there are wrapping paper, candles, fragrances, and gifts for the holidays and we have been told the candles will be less than if you buy them in the store! We have included a catalog in order to get an idea of what you can purchase, but items may vary based on availability when you go to order online. To ensure delivery by the holidays please order by December 10th. Just log onto the website www.yankeecandlefundraising.com with our fundraiser number 990100355.

Please also note that our sales continue until January 8th, if you want to start your new year off with some new candles!

Feel free to share the links with family and friends.

Other fundraisers which also help the middle school and that will not cost you anything include:

  1. Send in your receipts from any of the Crosby Markets to the office and they will give us credit towards equipment.

  2. Stop and Shop A+, all you have to do is link your Stop and Shop card to Swampscott Middle School and they will donate a portion of your purchases to our school. Just go to https://stopandshop.com/school-rewards/ and register your card to send points to SMS.

Thank you for your continued support!

Incoming 5th Grade Parent/Guardian Night

Good afternoon,
We will be having our Incoming 5th-grade Parent/Guardian Night on Tuesday, June 11th at 5:30 pm in the Swampscott Middle School Library.  THIS EVENT IS FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS ONLY.
Please see the following links for more information about SMS, the Program of Studies, and a website that looks at the benefits of waiting to give your child a smartphone.  We are also encouraging parents to wait until 8th-grade to give their child smartphones.  We are confident that they will be happier and healthier without it!
